Description: An informal recording of the new Central Library in Uxbridge including exterior and interior views. Inside the library the video includes shots of the issue desk, building signage, the gallery space and the inner atrium. People of many ages are caught using the library, scanning the shelves, reading, borrowing and returning books and using the computerised catalogue. There also views of the local studies collection and behind the scenes in the library offices and the basement rolling stacks. The exterior views include the facade as seen from the high street, the rear loading bay and shots from the roof of the building.
