Description: The construction of a new road bridge over the railway and of a dual carriageway in the Park Road and Honeycroft Hill area of Uxbridge. The video includes material shot during both the night and day as the construction work continues after dark. Various stages of the process are recorded including the delivery of cranes and heavy machinery, earthmoving, the pouring and levelling of concrete, the laying of an asphalt road surface and the painting of lines on the road. Some of the material is filmed from the upstairs window of an overlooking house. The video begins and ends with a crane moving demountable buildings for the workers.
