Description: This documentary was made for the 650th anniversary celebrations of St Giles' Church in Ickenham and used in its accompanying exhibition. It follows the Church's history from its beginnings in the 14th Century through the addition of the North Aisle in the 16th century and on into the modern era. The video makes much of diarist Samuel Pepys visits to Ickenham. The commentary is provided by Reverend Paul Kelly, the rector of the Church. Reverend Kelly also appears in the film conducting religious services, including the baptism and christening of a new child.
