00:32 – 01:10 Photographs or derelict and partially destroyed buildings. ‘Dockland’ title card. Animation of a dock area: the boats leave and the buildings are removed. New buildings are constructed and a ‘waterside’ area created. Fade to brown and a black horse rides across the screen. A man hits a golf ball into a hole with ‘Plan 1’ on the flag.
01:10 – 01:30 A man climbs out of the hole and carries the flag with ‘Plan 2’ written on the other side. ‘Thames Park’ appears in flowery writing. A man pushes a yellow building into place. Office buildings transform into typewriters and paper flies out of them, then they return to buildings.
01:30 – 02:05 ‘Plan 3’ appears in the clouds and dissapates to reveal buildings with ‘east End Consolidated’ written on the roofs. A plan flies over with ‘68% public rented housing’ in the cloud behind. A bovis homes signs is rearranged by a hummingbird to write ‘owner occupied homes’, which move into a ring with ‘32%’ appearing in the middle. The rings spins faster and turns into ‘Plan 4 Europa’. A hot air balloon with 28% public rented is popped by the hummingbird and the writing turns into a picture of the Thames.
02:05 – 02:28 A bus drives towards the camera. ‘Plan 5 City Newtown’ appears out of the ground. Trees and buildings appear on the map of the Thames. People outside of shops. A question mark appears out of a pram and fades to black.
02:28 – 03:07 Newspaper article on scrapped Dockland plan. A cannon ball is dropped on the five plans. The letters are dropped into a meat grinder and the pieces that come out spell ‘The next future of Docklands’. A group of people stood around a sign with ‘and its residents’ on it. End cards and LFS card.
