Ed picks out a record by Ronnie Dawson. Close up on the front of the record. Close up of Ronnie Dawson stood in front of a car. He explains that rock and roll singing is bigger in the UK than it is in the US. Shot of a hut in background at night with old cars going past in the foreground.
03:45 – 04:43 Footage of Ronnie Dawson and band playing, shots of the audience. Camera follows a group of people walking through the foyer, then zoom in on Ellie who is working at reception. Ed and Ellie in their living room by the TV as they talk about not wanting regular jobs as they prefer to be around the rock and roll scene.
04:43 – 05:49 People dancing to rock and roll in a hall. Close up on a man from Munich who moved to England for the scene. We see him and other men dancing, with a group of women lined up against the wall in the background. Close up on the women sat watching. Ellie stood by some shelves showing off various clothes and accessories. Photos of old adverts for clothes and jewelry.
05:49 – 05:49 Ellie in the kitchen with Jed. She talks about the glamour of the 50s compared to the 90s. Close up on jukebox. Jed playing with the buttons on the jukebox. Shot in Ellie and Ed’s living room with Jed in the foreground. Credits. Back to shot in living room, Jed comes back in and ‘dances’, then goes over to Ed and Ellie.
