Two people talking on railway platform, behind them the tender for the train says Southern,, porter on platform, people standing around talking - some of the people were at the wedding. Steam train leaving platform, people waving. Street scene, wartime, very dark, corner of a streety. Peggy's Wedding, Feb '44, Edgware. Exterior views of St Margaret of Antioch (1 Station Rd, Edgware HA8 7JE). CU of handwritten sign on door: 'confetti strictly forbidden in churchyard'. Guests arriving, approaching church from street, smiling faces, lots of women and children. Groom in naval uniform stands with best man who wears a suit. Another military man arrives. Bride in full wedding dress, veil etc. arrives with her father bride, and they pose briefly for the camera. Husband and wife leave church hand in hand - again they pose for the camera followed by shots of them greeting family members in Churchyard. Couple get into car which is decorated for the occasion with ribbons, behind the car are two shops: 'J.Salmon and Son limited' and 'Spurriers'. Bride walks down steps, possibly to hall for reception.
