Description: Many people are rowing boats on the lake, while above them the holiday fun fair is all full swing. Adults and children are enjoying the merry go round, the amusement rides, the swings, dodgems,, a shooting game and other games stalls. In the theatre, a rapt audience of children watch Augusto's Bijou Circus with its mix of clowning, acrobatics on wires and trampoline, talented dogs, lasso and bullwhip tricks from a cowboy/cowgirl duo, and juggling. Later the Summer Theatre hosts the Massed Choir Concert, a performance by young singers with a pianist and accordion player accompanying. More music comes from a small jazz group encouraging dancers out on to the floor. At night a young beat group perform on the same stage, and teenagers jive away. Outside the funfair stalls and amusement rides are lit with electric light and continue to draw in the crowds. The film ends the next day, as one young visitor is filmed walking amongst the quiet and empty fun fair.
