Description: A compilation of film shot around and about Bexley. The town centre appears a few times with shots of the National Provincial Bank, the clock tower, shops along the High Street with many passing shoppers and busy road traffic, the Bexley Garden Centre, the Railway Tavern, the King's Head, The Black Prince and The Coach and Horses public houses, and the old mill. There are also views of some of the residential streets with semi detached, terraced housing and the occasional detached house all in evidence. Some of the houses are along Albert Road, different accommodation is also recorded in the form of the almshouses known as The Forester's Homes on Tower Road, Bexleyheath. A trip via the walking path alongside the River Cray passes fields with cows grazing, some people out horse riding and a lone donkey. There are two trips to the grounds of the Tudor mansion house, Hall Place including views of the house's exterior, the formal gardens with their colourful floral planting, hedging, topiary and the route of the River Cray across the property. There are also some views inside the House, with film of the leaded windows, wood panelling, fireplace and ceiling details. Another walking journey passes a golf course and the riding school en route to Joyden's Wood. Carrying on along Joyden's Wood forest walk provides opportunities to film pine trees, bluebells, lily of the valley, and the ditch known as the Faesten Dic.
