Description: Mr L. Hugh Newman, lepidopterist and a male assistant prepare dead butterflies and moths for storage and display. A fashionable lady applies a preserved moth to her hat. Preserved moths are attached to a lampshade. Another fashionable young woman attached a large preserved moth to her scarf. Preserved moths are attached to flower arrangements as extra decoration. Shots of moth capture in the field, with large cloth bags tied about the braches of bushes and tress in a large garden. Men and women open the cloth bags and remove and collect pupae. Elsewhere, live specimens of moth are collected from plants. A large number of caterpillars are shown upon the leaves of a nettle. There are various close shots of beautifully patterned moths.
