Description: (2) An amateur crime drama: A gang of thieves conspire to steal money and jewellery from the home of Mr and Mrs Graham-Milton while they are away in the country, with the assistance of the family's dishonest chauffeur. The ill-begotten wealth produces greed and deceit between the conspirators however and the treachery of thieves leads to their undoing. The Graham-Milton's home is 'Crossways' on the Bishop's Avenue in Hampstead Garden Suburb, and they travel to the country from St Pancras Station, much of the thieves treachery meanwhile is played out beside the Grand Union Canal where it passes through Cassiobury Park in Watford. (3) An amateur film shot in central London. A man (presumably the Sid of the title) is filmed walking around in central London. The first shots show him outside Buckingham Palace and record a changing of the guard and a sentry. The remainder of the film is shot along the Embankment, with footage of Cleopatra's needle and the moored RRS Discovery and views south across the River Thames looking towards Bankside, the Shot Tower, the Royal Festival Hall, and County Hall. Also briefly visible are the Houses of Parliament and a riverside building bearing a large hoarding for the 'News Chronicle' newspaper. (4) An amateur film shot in the East of London. The film begins inside St Katherine Lock, which appears empty, abandoned and in a decrepit state. Some oil floats on the water. A sign for the dock points towards its Delivery Office. Film from a car shows the southern approach up Bridge Road to Tower Bridge, and passes the Tower of London before travelling east along Cable Street towards Limehouse and the docks. In the docklands area, there is film of warehouses, a dry dock in which a boat is being repaired with welding to its hull, large chains, mobile cranes, and freight railway carriages.
