Summary: Interview with Shelia Thomas, niece of Lieutenant Herbert Beck of Ilford, Royal Flying Corps, killed in 1918 during World War I, recorded 13 October 2008. Redbridge Museum has a wooden cross from Lt Beck's grave in France. The interview was used in Redbridge Museum's 2008 exhibition, Restoration of Valentines Mansion. Interview took place Autumn 2008.
