Description: The film begins in Pinner in the church and the churchyard of Pinner Parish Church. Views of some relatively new suburban streets featuring semi-detached houses are contrasted with the Tudor character of the town centre. There are some general views around Paines Lane at its junction with Church Lane and Pinner High Street. Cars are filmed going up and down the High Street past the shops including a pharmacy, the Village Bakery, the Queens Head public house, and by the Pinner War memorial to victims of the First World War. A man and a woman stand on a pavement, a sign behind them reads 'H.Gibson Met. Rly. Surplus Lands Co. Ltd Baker Street Station'

There follows some scenes from the Harrow Hospital Carnival and Pinner Fair. A float for 'Nursery Land' with a woman dressed as drummer boy and children in fairy tale costumes follows, with a 'Darby & Joan' float with a couple sat up in a large bed and adults and children in fancy dress costumes not far behind. Firemen accompany a fire engine from Wealdstone Fire Brigade. A float for the 'Honeymoon Kennels' carries a banner marked 'Board Your Pet With Us'. A float decked in flowers is marked 'Harrow Hospital Carnival'. An RSA float moves past with a banner reading 'Accidents Will Happen'. A car marked 'Ruffells Motors'. A float for 'Present Day Nursing' is filmed passing Watford Co-operative Society, followed by a float for the 'Boys High School, Harrow', a Salvation Army marching band and men on horseback dressed as Cavaliers. A horse drawn wagon bears the livery of the Express Dairy Company, and comes before a man carrying a peasant's yoke, and young adults and children in costume approaching bystanders with collecting tins.

The film ends at the Pinner Fair with rides and stands during the day and at night, including a roundabout, swings and helter skelter.
