Description: The film begins with a car being loaded for a trip away, and part of the road journey to Weymouth. This is followed by film around the Pontins complex, including the reception area, the swimming pool, badminton court, an outside seating area, the villa accommodation, the dining hall, and the gardens. At the swimming pool, there is a 'King Kong' impersonation contest for the men, and a beauty queen contest for the women. More fun around the pool ensues with a 'marriage' between the King Kong and Beauty Queen winners, a diving exhibition, a knobbly knees contest, and an aqualung training exercise. The family of holidaymakers also take trips out going to Weymouth and visiting the swannery and the beach, donkey rides. Other trips out include visits to Lulworth Cove, Portland Bill, Portland and Westham. The film concludes with shots from the drive home, stopping at Wimbourne to record the town.
