Summary: A video presenting Jaeger of London's Spring 1983 collection to the store's customers.
Title number: 3088
LSA ID: LSA/4058
Description: The Spring 1983 collection of Jaeger of London is presented to its customers, through women modelling the new range in a number of London locations. The locations include Berwick Street market, Jaeger's store at 204-206 Regent Street, and the car showroom of A.F.N. Ltd. in Isleworth. The new collection is described as dramatically simple, relaxed and often understated. The theme of the new collection is driven by three moods: sophisticated elegance, relaxed elegance and dramatic elegance. The season's colours are pale shell colours and light ceramic colours. Jackets are indicated as being key to the season's proportions. Linen is a favoured fabric and stripes are presented as a prevailing pattern. The credits indicate that the video was made in some kind of collaboration with Lancôme of Paris and automobile manufacturer Porsche. A new Porsche 928s features heavily in the video.
Credits: Make-up: Stephen Glass for Lancôme; Hair: Elliot of Michaeljohn;
