Disabled Sports Day 18 August 1985
VHS Colour Silent 18.08.1985 34:26
Summary: Video material shot at a sports event for people with disabilities.
Title number: 2936
LSA ID: LSA/3862
Description: The docklands form the backdrop to this event providing access to a range of water sports to people with disabilities of all ages. Canoeing, rowing, wind surfing and sailing in dinghies are all in evidence on the protected waters of the West India Docks. A motorised launch helps takes the sailing dinghies out into the centre of the water for a more engaging sail and retrieves those who have had enough. Some construction work is visible in the background, where the dock area seems a mix of old cranes and new offices.
Further information: This tape appears to be production material shot for the item on the event featured in the video magazine 'A Dog's Life' Issue 3.
