Sadie and Peter Dilley who live and work in the Borough talk about the good education and leisure facilities and the high quality of life they have there. Reg Hannam, Personnel Director of The Fenchurch Group adds his thoughts about the benefits his family has found since moving to Redbridge. John Ramsden, Leader of Redbridge Council talks about the pedestrianisation of Town Centre, and the council's relationship with major retailers and businesses. Richard Wright Of Norwich Union uses a scale model to explain the new shopping centre development that his company is investing in: The Exchange, Ilford. Bob Kurring, the Chairman of the Traders Association talks about the new commercial heart of Redbridge at Ilford. Tony Diamond, Chairman of Cranbrook Electronic Holdings Ltd explains why his company made their central headquarters in Citygate House in Ilford. Along the way the video takes in housing in the Borough, talking about its special residential precincts and the general improvement grants that have raised the standards of the many Edwardian terraces. The council is presented as making land available for new housing, while preserving the green belt. The environmental appeal of the borough is stressed with the information that it has 2000 acres of open space, including 10 conservation areas and fantastic sites at Wanstead Park, Eagle Pond at Snaresbrook, Epping Forest and the Country Park on Fairlop Plain. Leisure and education facilities are also shown with views of the Kenneth More Theatre, the Central Library, Hainault School, The John Savage Centre, and Redbridge Technical College. Frank Bough ends the video outside Redbridge Town Hall in Ilford, who, he informs the viewers will be happy to answer any further questions.
