It tells many stories of the area including those of the beigal-women, Blooms corner, the Yeshiva Eitz Chayim, Fashion St, playwright Arnold Wesker, Flower & Dean Street, sweatshops, Jewish shuls including the Machzike Hadass, the Shvitz Baths, Fournier St, Hanbury St. Along the way it also discusses Bud Flanagan, Joe Loss, the Brady Girls Club, Lady Janner and the cabinet-makers
