Summary: Opening scene features a wall mural followed by a rotating clay pot. Opening title Benjamin Durrant presents Pots and Potters. Opening scene features a shop Poole Gift Corner with an array of Shoppers looking into the window. Next scene is Poole Pottery Building featuring the clay mural from the opening credit. The next scene features a sign Showroom and Tours and a logo featuring a dragon fish. A group of people are in the showroom, cuts to a potter making a vase from different angles. A group of potters featured making a vase in different stages of production. A rack of pots and dishes are shown before they enter the kiln and the different products made. A machine stamps a label on the finished products. The process is show in different stages with different people. A tray of cups are transported around the factory and a worker is seen taking a tray of cups from the storage room and placing them on trays. A number of pots are seen being prepared for an industrial kiln. Screen prints are seen being produced onto a transfer sheet and then onto small plates. A painting room with a number of workers hand painting, with a tour group watching on, with close ups of the painting taking place. A finished plate is seen with the final design of a ship at sea, and the finished tea set products on display in the shop. A street sign 'Stoney Down Pottery turn left' is shown, and a new Pottery is featured, a smaller and older pottery, with various products being made and available for sale. A Potter is seen cutting and shaping clay, needling clay, pretending a wheel and then shaping the clay onto the wheel into a vase previously featured. The process is repeated, products on the shelf, and an external shot of the kiln, with a man on a ladder loading the kiln. The man is featured in the kiln removing bricks with the finished pottery.
