Further information: The footage is quite blurry and grainy, but is unclear how much this is a feature of the original film or of the subsequent transfer to video. The film appears to have been slowed for the transfer, perhaps in order to give more time to see the buildings.

My family were not well off at all but they didnt know they were poor as every family was the same.
They moved out of Georges Square in 1947 to Haggerston and their furniture snd belongings had to be fumigated before it could be put in their new flat due to the bugs etc that were rife at Georges Square.
I understand that the all the blocks were demolished in 1967 just after these films were shot.
