Description: Crowds of public line the surrounding streets to catch a glimpse of the monarch's arrival. Children and adults wave small Union flags in anticipation. The Royal car arrives at the home, and the Queen walks to the home's entrance where she is greeted by the Mayor of Enfield Councillor Phyllis Oborne. Councillor Oborne introduces the Queen to the assembled VIPs and to Group Captain Leonard Cheshire the founder of the Cheshire Home movement. While the Queen greets the dignitaries, the film captures people looking out of windows on events and some of the police security team. Returning outside the Queen unveils the official opening plaque inside a large velvet lined marquee. Mr Donald Tree, the Borough engineer, and Mr Victor Terry, Head of the Home, then guide the Queen on her tour through the building. Outside again, a child presents the Queen with a flower bouquet before she returns to the Royal car and departs.
