Description: Unedited film footage, apparently taken for use in a television new story covering the visit to Enfield by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother to officially open the new Civic Centre, on 6 May 1975. The Queen mother is filmed arriving and leaving by Royal car, being introduced to dignitaries by the Mayor of Enfield and greeting many of the crows of well wishers outside the building. There is also material filmed within the council chamber of the Civic Centre, where the Queen Mother addressed the council an din an anteroom, where she signs a book and is formally presented with some commemorative cutlery. The leader of the council leads the Queen Mother on a tour of the new building and she formally unveils outside a plaque inside a ground floor hall. Outside the building Queen Elizabeth shovels earth into a new tree planting and meets some more of her adoring public.
