Description: A short film which experiments with uneven timing, sepia tinting and sudden cuts to provide a disorientating portrait of 1990s London. A jerky opening shot of bricks and mortar gives way to show a complete wall. There is a series of traffic shots including one of an elderly pedestrian passing along an urban main road. Light plays on a wall as it reflects off the surface of a canal. Feet and disembodied shadows float along a pavement followed by shots showing pedestrians casting silhouettes on a wall and passing through an underpass. A speeded-up journey by Docklands Light Rail train is shown from the front of the train before shots of a station exterior and train line. There are shots of British Telecom satellite dishes with 1990s and 1980s branding, an urban reservoir and LT escalators in motion before a swirling shot of Tower Gateway DLR station entrance. Pedestrians descend to a subway. Close-up shots of pavements, roadways and car parking bays fly by. Pedestrians pass by a building. The camera zooms in and out from what it transpires is griddled paving, an LT bus then passes by. Out-of-focus trains pass under a bridge. The camera follows a pedestrian stairway and clouds pass over a waning crescent moon before the closing shot of an electricity pylon.
