Summary: A film celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the introduction of old age pension helped by Reverend Herbert Stead’s campaign in Walworth, Southwark. The film recreates Stead’s march down East Street Market to Browning Hall in 1898 and includes interviews with locals about the importance of Stead’s activities in galvanising support from Friendly Societies, Unions and the church in helping working class people secure an old age pension.
