Description: The film begins with a 275 bus driving along Barkingside High Street past the CRS Superstore and Bairstow Eves Estate Agency.
The next part of the film shows buses travelling across the junction at Ilford Hill, the Broadway and Ilford High Road. This includes buses on routes 25, 86 and 225. As buses cross into the High Road, the Gas showrooms, Burtons and the CRS shops can be seen. The 169 bus is seen in Cranbrook Road. There are glimpses of C&A, Bodgers, the Woolwich Building Society and Dunn & Co.
A 169 bus is seen turning out of Ley Street into Cranbrook Road. This is now the site of the Exchange shopping Mall.
Buses 167 and 123 can be seen in York Road Ilford, turning left into Cranbrook Road. The 148 bus and the 150 buses pass Fairheads store.

Further information: Views of the crossing at the High Road Broadway and two way traffic on Ilford Hill was prior to the road system being changed in the mid-1980s. The entrance to the exchange is now Wilkinsons, but it was C&A stores, before Woolworths took it over.
