Description: A poster says Llangollen International Eisteddfod followed by a shot of a marquee showing the date as 1984. There are shots of the various participants; dancers, choirs etc... in various national costumes. We see views of the surrounding countryside and stalls/marquees followed by more views of the choirs. We see a stage with a choir walking off and shots of people milling around the grounds.

Next, we see a stream with a woman walking along a side path waving to the camera. She is then seen sitting by a river with a large semi-circular weir.

We return to a country show and see a small pony in an enclosure with a mother (or granny) and daughter stroking the animals. They are with sheep and ferrets(?). We also see some tethered hot-air balloons.

We see a road sign saying "Broughton Avenue"; this appears to be in Richmond. There are shots of a suburban street with trees in (white) blossom along the pavements. We see a family having a picnic in a park; they wave and acknowledge the camera. Some of them then are then seen playing with a football. Two men are playing "swingball" whilst the others look on and continue with the picnic.

We next see a suburban garden where a man in shorts is seen playing with skipping ropes with a young girl. A woman is seen skipping, along with a teenage girl and general views of the garden.

The final shot is of a suburban street,, with no pavements, but grassy areas, shrubs and flowers either side of the road.
