Description: A film portraying the “100th battle on the cricket field” between Eton and Harrow, one of the oldest annual sports fixtures. Hundreds of members of the British elite (all ages, including families with young children) gather for the annual game, walking around the grounds of Lord’s, in St Johns Wood. It’s a sunny day, women holding parasols, and spectators use fans. Everyone is in formal wear, with even children in top hats. The film shows shots of people sitting on horse carriages, holding parasols and chatting. There is also a shot of an older man using two walking sticks and wearing a medallion, possibly an important member of the elite. On the field we see 11 men playing.
