Description: The first action is of a soap box derby race at Greenwich in which the 1st Ilford Scouts took part. The film continues at an international scout patrol camp at Gilwell Park in Essex. The Mayor and Mayoress of Ilford, Alderman and Mrs Pearson visit the camp which Ilford and Italian Scouts are attending. The scouts are seen enjoying traditional camp activities such cooking on an open fire and square lashing. The film finishes with a scout quickly eating a large number of bananas.
