Description: The father of the Davis family sniffs a red flower, then his daughter follows suit. The next few shots are too dark to make out. We then see a plane on a runway, and the daughter looking out the window at the airport. Several buses are lined up on the tarmac; a group of people ascend the staircase to board the plane. People in the airport wave them off. The plane, very large, sleek and modern for the early 1960's departs. Now on the runway, we see people close-up wearing coats in the wind.
We suddenly cut to the mother and daughter in a greenhouse, then a large garden, surrounded by many colourful flowers. There is a small boating lake; it seems to be autumn judging by the coats and the orange leaves everywhere.
The camera now moves to London, where we see some sort of large military parade (the Lord Mayor's Show) going by under a bridge, next to a tall narrow Victorian triangular building on a corner. A tube entrance sign can briefly be seen to the left; policemen stand guard. Mounted army personnel pass, followed by a marching band and soldiers on foot and in jeeps. A large bulldozer passes with '4 million new homes' written on the side. Various floats with construction themes pass, with people in costumes.
