Description: A red plaque reveals that we are at the Church of St. Andrew in Stokeinteignhead within the Diocese of Exeter. It is a large family wedding, a number of guests assemble outside the church, they are wearing colourful clothing that befits the period; including a bright orange dress, the gentlemen are wearing suits and red and white carnations. More guests arrive and congregate in the church cemetery talking and laughing, and there are further examples of ladies hats and beehive hairdos of the period, older ladies are wearing suit dresses and pearls. Three bridesmaids arrive in bright blue dresses clutching yellow carnations; the bride arrives in a white dress with her father in a black car, and is handed a bouquet of red and white flowers, she is then escorted up the path to the church, and they wait outside the entrance. Guests inside the church stand as the bride goes down the aisle. We then see the bride and groom outside, they are given a lucky horseshoe, they pose for photographs with the page boy and one of the bridesmaids; afterwards the focus is on guests, young and old, outside the church before and after the ceremony, posing for photographs and chatting, we see members of the Boulter family who appear in other films in the series. Women guests wear hats, big hair, horn-rimmed glasses and colorful suits. The bride, bridegroom, and bridesmaids all line up for official photographs. Men wear suits but not tails. We see more examples of ladies attire of the period including a bright pink dress and a light brown dress. The guests leave the church via the path followed by the bride and groom. Wedding rituals, confetti, bouquets etc. are shown outside some cottages. The entire wedding party gather outside on a lawn for a group photograph. At the end we see the groom in bed with a drink, after which the crowd congregates to watch the bride and groom as they are driven off on their honeymoon in a heavily-decorated car.
