Description: Segment 1 The intertitles introduce the treatment for talipes (clubfoot), and the cause - the position of the foetus during pregnancy. Another case of a six-month-old baby is shown, with talipes of the left foot. The intertitles describe the therapy the child received. Another case of double talipes is shown at six months old. Two cases of severe talipes are shown, one who had double talipes, and one with single. Both children have begun to walk and the intertitles note that it is 'almost impossible to tell which is the one normal foot amongst the four on view'.
