Description: Segment 1 A preparation of the spirochaetae bacteria is shown in magnification. The intertitles explain that if fresh blood serum is added to the preparation, the bacteria immediately die or become immobilised. However, if breast milk is added, the bacteria retain full movement and vitality, the same as if they were in an irritated wound. Various shots of the bacteria follow.
