Summary: This film portrays a way of life that has now changed and shows Bethnal Green in a state of change, as the high rise blocks replace the bombed out areas and families rely on the community centre to provide a place for them to come together.

Description: The film shows Cheltenham Ladies college and describes the involvement with the East End of London. There are shots of the college and the estates in the East End being built. The film interviews the different groups that use the centre, from the very old to the very young and features a look at the activities held there with the different age groups who attend, from dance events for teenagers, to play groups for infants and afternoon get togethers for the old.
