Description: The chapel in Clerkenwell where John Grooms began his good work is shown, along with general shots of London and then the residential estate in Edgeware where John Grooms Association carries on working for disabled people. There are shots of the flowermaking workshop on open day with many visitors and footage of the Guildhall when the Royal Patron of the Association, the Duchess of Kent is invited to attend and see all the work that is done for the association by different people. The City of London School for girls fundraised for a bus and soldiers in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps organised a marathon swim to fundraise for a swimming pool. Bob Wilson, sports commentator, attends the official opening of the pool. A William Hamer Productions Film. Narrated by Richard Baker
