Title number: 17607

Description: This film looks at the way that the John Grooms Association provides services for the disabled so that they can live a normal life. The film looks at the employment of the disabled making flowers in the residents homes run by the association and the building of new homes that provide a semi-independent life for disabled men. There are plans for the building of new flats especially catering for disabled residents to provide a choice of independent living arrangements. Cliff Richard is a guest to hand over a new bus to the residents, which then take them into London to a Youth Club gathering called PHAB (Physically handicapped and Able Bodied).
