Description: Description: This edition opens with a look at rivers, water and the natural life that occupy them. It shows how these environments can be affected by man made waste and how the River Thames is one of the cleanest in the world, and how it is maintained. A young school girl is interviewed, in Catford, about her pet goat which is shortly followed by an interview with a circus entertainer whose act involves a boxing kangaroo. The interview is carried out by local school children. student from Broadwater School has written a short story 'Back Through Time' in which on a visit to the Tower of London he is transported back by to Tudor times. This is shown via an animation. The second installement of 'Lost Crown of Atlantis' is shown, a puppet play charting the adventures of Captain Greg, Captain Patch, a mad parrot and wicked sea witches. To end the programme, the story of Dehantes seeking his love is dramatised through dance, music and song. Colour/B&W: Black and White. Key Subjects: River Thames, water purification.
