Summary: Produced and directed by Sandy Andrews. 26 minutes long. Programme concerning homosexuality.
Title number: 17525
LSA ID: LSA/20658
Description: This video is intended to be used as part of a structured course of personal and social education with upper secondary pupils to enable discussions about homosexuality to take place in an open and unthreatening way. This programme is about a group of young people who have identified themselves as lesbian or gay and consider some of the feelings of prejudice they encounter. The video starts with some young people singing/miming to a song about being gay - in an 80s pop video way and then features some young people talking about how they deal with being gay and how their friends reacted to being told about their sexuality. The video finishes with a panel by the individuals who were interviewed with other young people talking about being gay at school.
