The dangers of sea travel, such as wind, rocks and fog are discussed with photographs of Wolf Rock Lighthouse, Lands End used to support the narrative. An audio of a Lighthouse Keeper posted near the Isle of Man is heard, with footage of local docks, harbour and ships. A map of different Lighthouses around England is shown, with accompanying geological references to the many rocks that shape the coastline of England. A study of Eddystone Lighthouse, Plymouth is undertaken with a look at the three different Lighthouses built over its history, including the architects, Win Stanley, Smeaton and Rudyard. A cross-section of a lighthouse, including what each room/floor would have been used for is examined with different images shown. To end, a final look at a variety of Lighthouses around England is shown, including the Needle (Isle of Wight), Wolf Rock (Lands End) and Portland Bill Lighthouse (Weymouth).
