16mm film Colour Sound c.1984 10:07
Summary: Road safety film stressing the importance of good tyres on cars.
Title number: 156
LSA ID: LSA/210
Description: The film uses the curious device of apparently showing the process of its own creation. The narrator, television presenter Michael Barratt, is filmed viewing rushes of the film being made and offering suggestions to a member of the production staff. This process is briefly interrupted by Barratt telephoning home and asking his wife, Dilys Morgan, to pick him up a bottle of Scotch. Morgan's car journey and a subsequent accident then become part of the film being edited.
