Description: The film shows how the redevelopment of London through the new powers of the Greater London Council will improve the services provided for Londoners such as new roads and traffic schemes, houses and homes, health and welfare services, education, emergency services, parks and sports areas and arts centres. The new GLC will have the power to deal with services that affect the 32 local borough councils and City of London as a whole. This film explores all the services that a modern city needs to run and provide for its citizens to produce a healthy and happy city.
