Description: Children of Fire is about children living in the west Bank who are caught up in the uprisings. Mai Masri, a Palestinian filmmaker, returns to her hometown on the occupied West Bank, Nablus, after 14 years absence, and gives her personal view of the lives of the Palestinian children caught up in the violence and disruption of the Intifada uprisings, the effects it is having on them and the risk to their lives. Transmitted on BBC2 on the 22/10/1990. 50mins. Followed by 9oclock BBC news and then 7am Channel 4 Daily news.
