Song about the gulag by Alexander Gulich. Scenes of the daughter of Hillel Butman, a prisoner of Zion, crying; art depicting the camp Chaim Feldhon (an engineer exiled), Rimini Gorchio (an engineer sentenced to 10 years), Dora Poldolsky (teacher sentenced to 7 years), her son Boris (sentenced to 5 years), Baruch Shilkrot (student sentenced to 3 years), Victor Bogoslevsky (architect sentenced to 3 years), Shimon Krapivsky (general sentenced to 25 years), Avraham Shifrin (lawyer sentenced to death, commuted to 25 years), Yuri Meckler (physicist sentenced to 4 years) and Sylvia Zalmanson (engineer sentenced to 10 years imprisonment) talk about their experiences and those imprisoned with them in the 1950s. Stills of other inmates, including foreign nationals who were kidnapped and imprisoned in the camps. Ends with a meeting for the prisoners of Zion.
