Description: A row of parked cars with double decker buses parked behind them. A group of teenagers are having their luggage loaded into the back of a coach. The camera moves along a flower bed and then we see a junction in the countryside. The group of teenagers have clearly arrived at their rural destination and engaged on a school project. They have clip boards and notepads out. One of the students is looking through a camera/telescope? on a tripod. His view is back up the road to a village/hamlet. We can see the exterior of a whitewashed cottage with dormer windows and a parked car (EBW 200K). It has been raining and there are puddles on the road. We can see another student holding a large vertical ruler rod. The students are doing a surveying exercise. The students are then in large green field and clustered around the base of a large tree with summer foliage. We see then see the students by the side of a field near a high hedgerow. There is a male teache, with glasses and a trilby hat on, watching them. Female students with long hair appear through an opening in the hedge. There are carrying cardboard boxes. We are then by a river. There is luxuriant greenery all round and it is a beautiful sunny day. Students are by the river's edge. They have different sized fishing nets which they are dipping into the river.
A large group of students are assembling on a piece of lawn, surrounded by a high brick wall. It has the feel of a large quadrangle. There are teachers/ adults with the groups of different aged students. Students are playing tennis on red clay courts, with an imposing school building with a tower, at the side of the courts. The students are wearing tennis whites. Students in life-jackets are by canoes at the rivers's edge. other students are carrying their canoes and pushing sail boat to the rivers edge, embarkation point. An instructor is in a canoe on the river, whilst the group of students are waiting to get on the river. The students are now in the canoes. They gave helmets and life jackets on and have double edged paddles. 4 students (or three students and an instructor) are in the sail boat and are sailing across the wide river. There is lovely open countryside in view on the far riverbank. One of the students has capsized in their canoe and is dragging it in the water back to the river's edge.
There are students playing some form of tennis on a grass court. The nets are very low and they appear to have small handled bats/rackets. A group of students are standing in grounds in front of an impressive Elizabethan building. They are involved in archery and are standing in a long row with bows and arrows. The girls are wearing flared jeans/loons with long cardigans and coloured jumpers. The same male teacher with glasses is overseeing the activity. A girl with long blonde hair is pulling an arrow out of a tree trunk. There is another short shot of people playing tennis, on the grass court with low nets and rackets. The film then breaks up.
