Description: The film begins with Easter Camp at Buckmore Park, Kent (near Chatham). The scouts are filmed tree climbing, putting up tents, cooking and washing up. A later camp at Walton Firs features shots of the boys getting washed, preparing for kit inspection and chopping wood. At the Camp Office they are filmed using a grindstone. The next camp is at Hopehill (near Meopham, Kent) they are filmed travelling in the back of a truck through Fulham and at camp, where they make an obstacle course making, chop and saw wood and play football and rounders. A weekend end camp at Frylands wood (near Croydon) sees the boys playing table tennis as well as making a campfire, peeling potatoes and putting up tents. The Fulham District Campcraft Exhibition features a religious service in woods. At a District Sports event there are running races, hurdles, a relay race, long jump, shot put and discus throwing. The Summer Camp is at Rhyd Ifan in Wales, where they boys make music on improvised instruments, stack a bonfire, take part in a blindfold walk and practice first aid. There's also more sports with a sack race, javelin throwing, an egg and spoon, hammer throwing and the discus. They also take a tip out to Snowdon, where they see the Snowdon Mountain Railway and clamber to the misty mountain top where clouds swirls about the cairn.
