(0:20) There is a shot of some amazing beehive hairdos. Some lovely close-ups of people young and old as they smile and laugh at the camera.
(1:48) Men load supplies into the coach. There is a POV shot out of the front window of the coach as the group set off. Inside the coach excited children laugh and make funny faces at the camera. More close-up shots of residents. The camera films out of the front window again, this time filming children making silly faces out of the back window of the coach in front.
(3:07) We cut to a map and the camera zooms in to Canvey Island. We then see a handwritten title reading 'Canvey '73'.
(3:25) Now in Canvey Island, it looks like it's a warm day and residents are dressed in bright summer colours.
(3:43) We see a sign for The Gold Mine Water's Edge - Free House. Some residents go inside.
(3:50) We see the seaside in the distance as cars park in the foreground. People are sitting, sunbathing and enjoying refreshments on the grass nearby.
(4:04) At the funfair, we see children on the bumper cars. A little boy stars at the camera. We see some great 1970s teen fashion from two girls. A boy rides a mechanical horse.
(4:37) By the seaside we see mothers and babies sitting on a bench.
(4:48) We cut to a trampoline park. Kids bounce up and down. Followed by more shots of residents generally having fun including children on a carousel, woman showing off a goldfish she has won, teen girls eating at a chip shop. Some young boys eat candy floss and pose for the camera.
(7:26) A man loads loads stuff into the back of one of the coaches. Residents return to the coaches.
(7:42) Teen girls bounce on a trampoline. A group of kids play crazy golf.
(8:15) Residents rest/picnic together on the grass by the coaches.
(9:04) POV shot of the road filmed from the front window of the coach. The shot pans to a young boy who seems to have a bandage on his head, but who is smiling anyway. Cut to a shot of the kids in the coach.

Further information: The Brandon Estate was built in 1958 and housed people from Bermondsey whose houses had been demolished in slum clearance. The residents formed several clubs, and the cine club filmed events run by the social club, which met above the library.
