British Red Cross Museum and Archives
We hold around 500 different titles in our moving image collection on a range of formats.
The focus of our moving image collection is the work of the British Red Cross and its overseas branches. This includes: our emergency response work during conflict, such as the Second World War, and natural disasters including earthquakes and severe floods; our local services such first aid instruction and medical equipment loan; fundraising trailers and footage from fundraising events; visits by senior members of the Royal family including the Queen, the Queen Mother and Princess Alexandra. The collection also contains material on the rest of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement including the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (the Federation) and other National Societies.

The British Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities.
