Islington Local History Centre
Islington Local History Centre houses a small moving image collection, with titles held on DVD or VHS tape format. Subjects include film of local events, festivals and celebrations produced by Islington Council or local organisations and institutions, and date from the 1990s and early-2000s.

Islington Local History Centre holds a wide range of resources about the history of the London Borough of Islington (and its predecessor authorities), including books, maps, illustrations, census records, electoral rolls, trade directories and archive material. The collections are available for research on family history, local history and many other subjects.

Access: Access to the moving image collection is limited and there are currently no viewing facilities on site. Arrangements are in progress to increase availability of the collection. Please contact the Centre for further details.
The Centre's aim is to collect material, including moving images, that records life in the London Borough of Islington: its people, buildings, institutions and events past and present. The Centre is acquiring new material and is currently accepting relevant deposits and donations on digital, DVD and selected titles on VHS tape formats.
